12 months / 1 YEAR!!

Emmalyn's medical update:
Emmalyn has been pretty snotty lately. She's been getting a few bruises, but she's becoming more mobile.

Emmalyn's growth update:
Weight: 19.2 lbs (46th percentile)
Length: 29.5" (65th percentile....lost a little percentile on there)
Shoe size: 3 (Walmart brand)

Emmalyn's clothing size: 
Diapers: Size 2 in Parent's Choice!
Onesies and dresses: 9 month or 12 month
Pants: 12 month, and possibly even 18 month for length. It's a bit frustrating because the waist on the 12 month just makes pants fall right off of her.

Emmalyn's eating update:
She will NOT drink anything other than her formula. No sippy cup still. We have a straw cup to try with her, so we'll see how that goes. No cow's milk yet. She does not get straight eggs. She'll eat pretty much anything.

She LOVES pie!

Emmalyn's sleeping update:
Sleeping through the night, except for lately, she's been getting up once or twice a night. She is growing at least 1 more tooth though, so that's pretty self-explanatory. She also is pretty snotty (and not able to breathe as easily as when she is healthy). Still naps on our bed.

Emmalyn's new developments update:
She is WALKING! She started walking much more consistently and with much more stability on Sunday (11/1/15), so she technically was walking before she was 1 (like Jonathan had thought!).
She has another tooth, and I think she *may* be getting a top tooth finally! Fingers crossed for that top tooth!

On her birthday, she had a total of 3 teeth.

Emmalyn's words:
She can say "mama", but it doesn't mean me. She has no other words that are syllables (like "baba" or "dada"). She communicates by crying, screaming, and whining.

Emmalyn's Likes:
Her monkey, balloons, pie, food, trying to play with Joey.

Emmalyn's Dislikes:

Being in her car seat, naps, Joey taking toys away from her.
